Does anyone know or ever recorded what nep species flowers faster or maybe makes a basal faster then others?

Ken, what do you mean by that..? Age to reach first flowering or duration of development of the flower spike?

Well i've had some plants flower before they started vining and some which are a lot taller then it but hasn't even flowered...So i was just thinking maybe some neps flower earlier then others. Another one is my suratensis which is probably 5 cm tall has a basal but my mirabilis is probabbly 2-3 feet tall doesn't have a basal

N.xmiranda is fast grown and fast flowering....it has many flower:1thumbup:

I only know raffs and amps take forever to flower, if you grow it from small size.

here's the update of my raff flower....

has started to bloom and it isa male plant....will try to harvest the pollen for future use.maybe then i can cross it with my female N.gracilis or N.mirabilis if they give my more flower.

BTW IcucIcu,i don't have a female miranda....maybe u get mix-up from my post of crossing N.gracilis X N.x miranda....it is the gracilis the female plant...

I'm just curious,so far i only have male miranda and gracilis to flower and both give out the same scent,some how like the smell of a bleach/pandan.So i assume that my raff male flower will have the same scent to....but i was wrong!....it has the scent of a sweet cinnamon/clove smell....
care to share your experience... :)
