|
Re: A few oddities...
Thanks guys.. :)
kit, this one was a recent purchase.. But flowered in the lowlands.. I know a few guys in Singapore who grow and flower bellatulum successfully. Just grow like niveum or concolor, but it is very sensitive to rots, so keep sheltered from rain... marvin, the bottom petal is actually shaped like a slipper or pouch to catch insects. Unlike nepenthes, the caught insects do not die but are released after they pollinate the flower. |

Paphioboy,
I don't have any luck with paph.I have a niveum which i keep for a year plus but it doesnt flower for me. =( I also had few paph imported from taiwan..They keep producing side growth. T.T |
Re: A few oddities...
Very nice vandas, kit.. :) Vandas are not my thing, and I don't have the appropriate conditions for them.. Side growths on paphs are a good thing.. If you decide you have no patience for paphs, I will be glad to get them off your hands.. :D
