My viking seedlings are not even that big....Just a piece of advice...You should give it much more sun so that you get better leaf:pitcher ratio..

Re: My viking seedling

Re: My viking seedling

i put them in those transparent box for packing food, about 500ml-750ml size. punch some holes at side. use wet moss + perlite as media. seeds are sowed on top of the moss, i open up to check every few days and add water if too dry. I put all this about 15-20cm away from fluoresent light. running 10 hours/day. once they start germinate, i slowly open the cover

Re: My viking seedling

I don't know if it even took 3 months. I just took the seeds and throw it all over the pot and then I check 2 months later there were plants! So maybe less than 2 months.

Dear cbkhoon,

Just re-confirm again ....

You use 1 or 2 T5 for the set up?

caseyhoo 25th July 2010 10:17 PM

Re: My viking seedling

Since Tan raised the question. Below are others question may need to ask as well.
It is normal T5 or T5HO?
What is distance between plant and light?
How many hours? From what time to what time? Other time, the place is bright or dark?

cbkhoon 25th July 2010 11:49 PM

Re: My viking seedling

1 x t5ho . 7 hours.. start from 7am. distance at least keep 30cm away from light, else sure burnt. adjust light hours to suit ur plant's reaction.
