Hi , 2 days back i separated 1 VFT into 3 pieces. All with rizhome and also roots. Hope they can grow like your. Actually i tried the same method before last year. 2 out of 3 survived. :laugh:

Thanks for sharing this. Unfortunately my oldest VFT is 1 year old ++ (I bought it from Casey). That's mean I need to wait for 3 or 4 years before I can apply this technique.
By the way, one of my VFT seed is already germinated (https://forum.petpitcher.net/showthre...5045#post15045). I need to know what should I feed on that seedling since its traps will be so tiny... Thanks.... |

I think he means where is the trap? Still haven't emerge? BTW my akai ryu has produced small baby plantlets without me noticing until I saw some miniature traps when I was trimming my plants.

I've got a few Q for you...How do you plant the leaf?did you just placed the pulled leaf "ON TO" the growing media or partially plant the end of the leaf "IN TO" the media... Thanks for sharing... |
