Woah! Pictures of N. northiana in-situ never cease to amaze me! Thanks for posting!

Those plants are really something....They're so BIG, with spectacular, enormous pitchers - even the uppers are colorful and unique. However, that is the first pic of an N. northiana inflorscence that I've ever seen - and it's something to really think about!

Jimmy, those colourful pitchers though not as monstrous as N.rajah but with their slightly smaller size than rajah it's fit to be the "Queen" ha..ha...joking:biggrin:.

Northiana inflorescence are hard to come across since they're sparsely distributed on the ground. Chances to observe them flowering, as with most species and hybrids, would be around August to March. Though there is no specific flowering season for most neps., and they flowers year round. The intermonsoon period and onset of rainy season , cooler air and gtreater drop in night temp play a part in their flowering this time of the year.
