@Jonathan: Thanks.

@TS: Ok, see what you mean now, I pampered the seedling too much I think :biggrin:, will try to get them to adapt to outside world then, but will do it gradually as the humidity inside the bag is 100%. Thanks for the comments. One question, do you think they grow faster exposed to rain and sun?

Re: My sarra seedling

I didn't compare whether they are better outside or inside the ziplock bag, but I can be sure they will be healthier outside. :laugh: Spolt child will never grow up.:tongue:
Mine grow well outside, and already showed colour since small. Just went and check on the leuco seedling, the tallest one is about 5 to 6" tall now!
Yeah, I open the zip gradually to let the seedling adapt to outside humidity, after a few days when the zip is already widely opened, I still left the seedling in the ziplock bag for a few more days to make sure they are fully adapted. I found sarra able to adapt quite well.

Re: My sarra seedling

@Ed: you are welcome,

i support ts words, because i actually just dump all my seeds outside to the full sun and rain splashing on them (did not provide high humidity during germination aka no zip lock or container) and the plant still looks healthy since it was sow at 1 year 4 month ago the seeding are actually quit tall now but i did not measure them...

Anyway wishing you all the best and happy growing^^

Jonathan

Re: My sarra seedling

Thanks guys,

I will do that then, but feel a bit worry as lately are raining quite heavily and my growing area is at the top of the fourth story so it is quite windy as well. ha..ha.. just love them so much and don't want to make any mistake ha...ha...

But I got the point, will update again after I am done with adjusting those spoiled sarras of mine. ha...ha.. .:biggrin:

Hi Wijaya

Well nice seedlings seem to grow so fast.....Anyways you think that if after a couple of seed grown sarr will there be a batch where doesn't need dormancy?

Re: My sarra seedling

@TS: some already outside with rain and sun even without water tray. Some still got covered from rain.

@Ken: it is still too soon to tell, those are my very first seedling, will have to wait another year or two to tell if they will skip the dormancy.

Ed
