Nep maxima - slow to root..?
Hi guys.. Just asking about this maxima cutting which I planted about a month ago.. Is maxima slow to grow roots, because this one keeps looking half-wilted.. Its placed in 50% sun with my other neps.. Any tips?

My cuttings so far ain't rooting yet...Now about 3 weeks old and some of the growth tip's tendrills are turning black so i hope just the tendrill goes black but not the whole leaf..

Re: Nep maxima - slow to root..?
Bag it up and put it in more shaded condition (>50%), after it started to produce new leaves then you can slowly give it more sunlight.
I also found N. maxima root and acclimitise to new environment slowly, here's mine from basal off shoot potted since May 09. Only produced 2 new leaves with tiny pitcher since then... guess have to give it more time. http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/3078/maxima01.jpg |
