Thanks Folks

I hope to get more info on how to grow lowii x truncata well.
any help?

TS, now i truly understand why the first time I met Cindy, she said, she rather grow Nep than VFT. Now I know. It is very rewarding! Now I wish my VFT can find someone who can help me to take good care of them........ I amgiving up......

Yes Jeff. That's why i'm more into Neps and not other CP's expecially VFTs.

Re: Jeffery's mini growlist

I still want to get all CPs, VFT are still fun, but neps are cool to. Actually, all carnivorous plants are unique and fun, no matter what size or promise they give.

Cheers

N. Sibuyanensis x Ventricosa Dead......... remove from list

N. Northiana continue to pitcher. it is getting bigger and bigger everyday!!!!!

Hi Jeff,

Was going through some older posting when I noticed what you wrote here, can you further explain & descripe the cutting of undevelop pitcher trick. I have a lot neps. that's not pitchered for the longest time.

Hope the trick would do the boosting!

Re: Jeffery's mini growlist

*biggrin2* TS, most of my neps are not growing well except N alata x truncata & thorelii. The rest are new in my collection, so i try to take pictures first before it gone. Like my lowii x truncata, No sign of growing.

Amelie
I have tried to cut away the newly undeveloped pitcher to encourage/force the nep to pitcher from its new leaves.

But it works for some, but not all the times.

So far, i concluse, it depends on humidity. My side humidity is low due to windy and hot. NO way to make any changes to my growing area.... In Singapore, only wealthy people can grow better neps.
