I have a 'rubra' from EP. It had reddish purple leaves and red pitchers in bright/direct sunlight. It was growing in LFS/perlite.

But albo var rubra is all red right and i think it's because of too much sunlight same like rafflesiana.They're leaves turn dark purple in the wild!!

Some kind of insect actually crawling in the pitcher fluid... repeat, "crawling" not "swimming". Some sort of symbiosis relationship???

nope, not the "grey" or " black", probably not available in Peninsular Malaysia. But I still got many many area to explore... so you never know... :smile:

This is the darkest pitcher I came across but I think it's caused by age, however the leaves for this nep are very dark tone like it's pitcher... too bad I didn't take any pic... :thumbdown:

Great shots in there CPNut! I especially like the "Various forms" plants...now I can't wait for the Penang Festival to go see them for myself! I really like the black pitchered variety too Ali! Anybody got pictures to post of them?
