my nep. viking germinated
 

i have 24 germinated little viking... finally. This is after 2 months after i sow the seeds.. The are another 2 tray of other nep seeds not germinated yet.

Hi CBK are these the giveaways from wanakorn? Mine germinated about month and a half back....They seem to have huge wings even at such small size..

yes, it is from wanakorn...I have other seeds from David as well , sow longer time ago but not germinated at all. Maybe it may take longer time becoz i put them at less sunlight place, my place humidity can reach as low as 30% in the afternoon if not shaded well. The pic you see is actually a repoted container, the original container still have a lot of seeds not yet germinate. I have some drosera capensis & spatulata germinated as well but very tiny size.

Congrats on your viking germination guys! Ken, how big are the seedlings? I've tried germinating some Nep seeds way back but failed...you sow them on sphagnum rite?

Hi cbk..

I see they're from the same batch as mine..I love them cos they have such big wings for they're tiny size...I hope this trait stays on..Anyways i sowed into 2 pots and about 90% of them germinated...I have about 20-30 of them right now..I don't cover them so humidity drops like you too....Once they even went dry up for a couple of hours..I only have 2 nep seed batch...The 1st one is from JK now about 5 months old..Also germinated..now about 2cm wide..

For the viking now its about 0.6.0.8cm they seem to be very compact..Anyways for the viking seeds i sowed some on LFS and some on peat...Both germinated well..I just sprinkle them all over...And keep them moist..(BTW my D. Burmannii germinated too!! They are everywhere lol)

I have some N.viking from Wanakorn and it looks fine . 30 germinated seed .
