Pretty cool... :) Sorry but I'm a bit new to the concept of higland terrariums.. What is used to provide the cooling..? Are you installing a cooler inside your set-up..? thx.

I do not want to use any electrical system........since it is rather small for a cooler, I use ice bottles. Tropicana 1.5 liter bottles, two of them the whole day before switching in the night with two freshly frozen TROPICANA BOTTLES AGAIN.

It is cheap and easy and obviously, no electrical extras......hehehe

Oh, yes. Fauzi, an advisor uses this method to keep his realllllyyyy HL neps cool. Those HL neps are like hamata, jamban and a few other highlanders.

Hi

Well i can't say succesful too since i too just started using this method recently but i took the temps of it inside and with around two 500ml bottle and it goes down at night to ranging between 13-18C.

The cool thing doesn't stay all the way i think because when i wake up in ther morning which is roughly 6hours after that the temp inside is 23C and the bottle is still a little cold so i guess it stays at 13-18C for around 5-6 hours?Which is more than enough:1thumbup:
