D adelae looking strange
My D adelae looks a little less 'perky' after the weather became hotter and drier the past few months. So I shifted it indoors and this is what became of the plant now
http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/9665/1515101.jpg As you can see the larger plant has new leaves that are droopy (they are supposed to be erect during unfurling I suppose?) but they seem to be thin and wavy at the edges (dewing is still normal). Anyone have this problem? Please share and advise, much appreciated. Thanks! |
Re: D adelae looking strange
The plant looks quitte healthy to me I wouldn't be concerned about it at all.

Re: D adelae looking strange
I wish my Adalae look like yours, but it ain't.Mine just grow new leaves that are half curled and the uncurled part after two days or so.I think it is dying.....

Re: D adelae looking strange
Do you mean the leaves are dying when half curled up?
|
Re: D adelae looking strange
Yeah, sort of....The new leaf uncurl ,right?Mine uncurl half and the other half is already dead.I don't think I could save my adalae now..........

Re: D adelae looking strange
Increase humidity and shade. Drosera adelae, unlike most sundews, likes high humidity and about 50% shade.
Having said this the darn thing can still die off and come back from its roots. Mine alway doing this to me. |
