I'm scratching my head here trying to get what you meant. Is that a private joke? If it is, it's better to keep that between private messages! On another note, would you be kind enough to actually go through your postings to check for spelling errors & missing words before hitting the post button. This will help avoid any misunderstanding. Happy CPing, ~A~ |

Re: Questions..............................
Hi Edward
Your neps will basal soon just give it some time let it grow taller.........Normally my basals appear just as my plant starts to show more gap between each leaves (starting to vine) Ken |
Re: Questions..............................
Mine hasn't vine yet. I am waiting for my hooker and ventrata to do basals. My ventrata had a basal when I bought it, but I ripped it off during transplanting the plant.
Cheers |
Re: Questions..............................
My ventrata is made out of basals......It outgrew the main vine so i vut the main vine off for fun lol.......

There's an edit button at the end of the post, you should be able to make ammendments to the posting. BTW, punctuation marks would be nice too :) |
Re: Questions..............................
Ventrata are crazy and weeds. Mine has produced like 4-5 basals per plant.

Re: Question : Inducing nepenthes to produce basal shoots
Ken,
Sometimes basal shoots are produced during the change in weather. From what I observe about my own plants, the Neps seems to produce basals at the onset and at the end of the monsoon season. |
Re: Question : Inducing nepenthes to produce basal shoots
i always had this strange idea..... how about growing our neps upside down to induce basals??
