Just Sharing

My stem cutting planted in ground produced lots of pitchers. Today cleared the grass at base and discovered 2 new offshoots , already bearing pitchers.

The new pitcher on my Ramispina Black Peristome appears redder and broader than the older pitcher. Any comments? Thanks, hosh

Nice pics! Congratulations on the new basals. What conditions are you growing it in by the way?

Planted the stem cutting on a slope. The ground is basically laterite with very little topsoil thus low nutrient. Good morning sun though shaded by tree from hot midday sun. Plenty of TLC at first, watering twice a day.

Regarding the ramispina, what I meant was that the preistome on the new pitcher appears redder and broader, not the whole pitcher.

Thanks for viewing.

Hi hosh,
I have one plant like your N. ramispina but I couldn't confirm whether it's a real species or maybe a hybrid as I haven't seen a real N. ramispina before.... I suspect mine could be a hybrid of N. ramispina x sanguinea.

Can you confirm your plant's ID so I could have a reference? Thanks.

I bought my plant unknown and posted photo in our ID section and it was identified by Forum members as N. ramispira.

I have 2 small plants also ID by forum as N. ramispina x sanguinea. Are these like yours.

How about putting a photo of your plant for our experts to ID.

Cheers,

hosh
