it is actually wet so showing the black color, if dry up the color is more to brownish color, this help to tell if the plant need watering :biggrin:

Nice plants,The HL truncata/pasian seems to have wings on its pitchers and my LL truncata doesn't....anyway i prefer it without wings...afraid it will fly away like my VFT and Sarrcenia.Oh yah spotted a N.Viking x N.ampullaria.......Nice 1 Ken |

@cpnut: yes, most of my neps are in basket like pot, due to my growing area, I do twice a day watering plus the misting system around the clock during the day time. And furthermore, looks like the neps prefer the airy root area.
