the first one is more like ramispina x macfarlanei or ramispina x sanguia. It has speckling on the pitcher. True ramispina is not speckled. The second one looks like maxima or a maxima hybrid.

Hi Alcran

Yeah i know i thought of that but the spots look a little faddy so i thought maybe just a variant.

The first do look a lot like ramispina x macfarlanei and the second pic is most likely mixta x fusca.

Will put up more photos if speckles get clearer or otherwise. Could the 2nd plant be maxima x fusca?

Re: More Recent Photos

Nop i don't think its a maxima x fusca because that plant normally has a fusca-ish look in it.....I'm preety confident that its a mixta x fusca because that plant is quite a common plant among normaly nurseries....I've seen a nursery in Sg.Buloh growing it till a size of a bush...Even the basals are already into uppers....I tried finding some info about it but i don't find much. The intermediates are the best for me as the lowers are a bit small but colourful amd the uppers are bigger but pale green in colour. So the intermediate pitchers has a nice mixture of the both (judjing by my plant).

It's N. xGentle.

Ken, can we see a photo of your plant? Love to see the comparison between the lower, intermediate & upper pitchers.

Hi Athene

Oh.......Well if it is a N gentle then i have to change my growlist :D.....I'm not a good IDer but well a forum member told me it was a mixta x fusca so well it has been that ever since then :p....Anyways i would love to share pics (love uploading pics) but i don't have any new pics.....And i don't mind taking pictures on my current sickly plant which i recently repotted and loss almost all its pitchers (Argh!) I cleared every single soil from it and exposed its roots...100% change of media. So well if you insist its now having maybe about 0 pitchers lol...Sorry if i gave some wrong ID.....Newbie grower here hehe.I have yet to have an upper pitcher but one is coming up so excited....I never had an true upper pitcher.I think i have photos of it somewhere...I'll search for it.
