N. lowii x truncata (and others)
Spring is here, and my lowii x truncata is pitchering again, with 4 pitchers coming at the same time.
Here's the first one to open- http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_728.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_749.jpg And the second one coming in, should get to 12" or so. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_745.jpg Here are the last bath of photos until new ones open up and this one finishes coloring up. It already looks quite stunning, as I can tell the interior is going to go completely crimson red. Love this hybrid. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_756.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_761.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_763.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2.../IMAGE_770.jpg |

Re: N. lowii x truncata (and others)
Thanks for the compliments. The big pitcher opened up today. I think it's about 13" right now (though the pitchers keep growing after they open). Now I feel like a proud father :P .

Wow Lazarus,
Nice pics..thanx for sharing though and please post more.;) |
Re: N. lowii x truncata (and others)
I'll take more pics in a few days after the pitcher(s) has developed and colored up more. EP gave birth to one hell of a king with this hybrid. This pitcher may be a good mouse candidate...

I must say that's one of good hybrid availble around. You've perfected the plant as well too. Must be a proud owner of it.*biggrin2*
Perhaps care to share with us some picts of the whole plant? |
