Neps found in Tioman Island, Pahang

as the title reads, i have a friend who recently had an expedition with some forestry officer to one of the many hills on tioman island.

i met him days just before the expedition, while he was busy stocking food supplies for the said expedition..... i asked him to look out for nepenthes and orchids...though he is not a 'plant' guy nor a 'photographer' type....he took 2 shots of nepenthes that he found during his expedition..... not a special species like n. northiana nor an unknown species but still it a discovery for me.......

i hereby present the ordinary and well known.....

.....

.....

.....

.....

n. rafflesiana and n. ampullaria !!!:tongue::tongue::tongue:

That doesn't look like spathoglottis to me. Maybe a calanthe (calanthe pulchra or similar species...)

I see some withered yellow flowers on a spike near the plant, so I'm assuming they are calanthe flowers...
