Should I repot my carnivorous plants?
My dad is forcing me to repot my plants which includes 3 sarra, a ceph, and 2 pings(1 is producing 2 flowers). I'm afraid I may disturb the roots and cause the plant to die or stop growing. Should I really repot them?

Re: Should I repot my carnivorous plants?
For me, try not to disturb those plant if it is not neccessary.
For me, only repot it, when, - the pot is full of the plant. - media is melt or it is times to change the media - suspect root is affected by deasease or fungus. Dont repot it if the plant is doing well, flowering... |
Re: Should I repot my carnivorous plants?
Thanks. Have to show my dad this. My Sarrac has not filled the pot yet, it's only the pitchers lying on the soil, and my dad say it is crowded. This resulted in an argument between my mom and dad. My dad insist on repotting while my mom insists on not repotting because if the plants die, waste money.

They are involved in a bad way. my dad killed lots of my CPs by simply moving them and forcing me to repot them.

Re: Should I repot my carnivorous plants?
Mine is same case with a little difference....I tend to sometimes squeeze my neps into tiny bottles...Especially seedlings and are too lazy to repot...So my parents will nag nag and say look the pitchers so small etc etc(its a seedling gosh ==")

My parents boast about my CPs too. But my dad like to mind my CPs and end up killing them.
