« Reply #8 on May 16, 2007, 5:07pm »http://s4.images.proboards.com/buttons/modify.gif http://s4.images.proboards.com/buttons/delete.gif hi artificialive, based on my observation i think the nepenthes from the first picture is a form of hybrid. it has no neck and i can't find the second plant in the area. the 5th and 9th pictures are both hybrids, most probably hybrids of n. rafflesiana and n. mirabilis.

How did u get your (n.rafflesiana x n.mirabilis) x n.gracilis so red? does it need strong sunlight to enhance the color (like maroon/ black gracilis behavior) or a lot of shade (like the globosa/ viking behavior)? Since one of the parent is gracilis, i assume that it needs a lot of sunlight?
