As usual, the plants labeled "Tiger" are looking for an 'official' identity...feel free to tell me and I'll pass it on to them! *biggrin2*
Thanks!

The Vikings have been out in full sun for a while now and the colors are really starting to get strong. K. Nong of Neofarm has explained that Vikings really develop their best colors when the leaves are in full sun but the pitchers are 'hidden' between the pots or under the pots, mimicking the way it would happen naturally with pitchers hidden in the grass. He also says he's yet to see a cultured nep produce the deep colors of the naturally occurring ones. Casey - that is just one 'weird' plant out of about a hundred that did that! But I like the bright yellow peristome, though the picture didn't really capture that aspect very well.

Beautiful pictures and plants Shawn. Thanks for sharing.

I like that 'mini cap". Would be interesting if you can cross this "mini cap" with another viking and see if some of the seedlings have that yellow peristome.

Nice neps Shawn !! Speaking of mini, have you come across any "mini" vking?? I have seen them, those viking produced really small and cute pitchers for the size of the plants.

Hi Rob,

There are so many Vikings and Viking hybrids and so much variation that I am sure there's some tiny ones in there somewhere! Funny but I have been focusing on the BIG ones, the 'weird' ones, everything but the 'tiny' ones! Actually, I think I have been purposely not looking at the tiny ones! *biggrin2*
