Agar to root cuttings
 

just wanted to know if any one has ever used agar to start the roots I know ppl use it to start seeds but would it work for cuttings tout is mostly water and you could mix rooting hormones in with it

what types of agar you are planning to use?
if you use agar with nutrients, contamination will occur if you don't apply aseptic techniques
but it is possible to vegetatively produce new plant with cuttings using in vitro technology
