Nice! I just don't get sarras, they keep dying on me. My sarra is turning brown now, slowly. So should I uproot it and throw into the fridge?

Re: Sarracenia after the heavy rain!

Today I gave my Nepenthes Rebecca Soper a lot of water. Only sprayed on it with a water-sprayer thing. But when I came to pick it up 2 hours later I saw that one of the pitchers leaf (the one they use to block for rainwater) was pretty folded. It was bend down and seemed to be a little more weak or thin than it used to.

Can I do something to help my plant? What can I've done wrong? is it actually normal for Nepenthes to let some of the pitchers die or what? On my plant there's a lot of new pitchers to come, but I've not had it for so long so I don't know what's going on.

When I got it, there was a dried old pitcher hanging from the plant. I cut it off. Is this normal, and will the plant just live on?

Please help me, cause I don't want my Nepenthes to die.. :(

Sarracenia is quite easy to keep if your place got full sun. If not, they will keep dying. I guess your place can't provide full sun.

No. Pitchers won't break. Yes. You can put it in rain.

Most of them keep growing without dormancy. If they show sign of dormancy, I will put them in the fridge.

I can provide full sun. It's just that they always go downhill after maybe 6-7 months?

im using only cocopeat and burn rice husk for the media.

for seedling i put in bright and hot place.
