Hi Aaron, expose them to more sunlight, VFTs like a lot of sunlight, they grow vigorously under full sun. Yours are the all green form, so they don't show any red colouration under full sun.
Yours are actually divisions from a big clump of mine, the leaves looked abit elongated due to growing too cram together fighting for sunlight. But I saw new leaves growing steadily from the growing points. « Last Edit: Mar 27, 2008, 12:17am by cactustts »Link to Post - Back to Top http://s3.images.proboards.com/ip.gif LoggedTS jeff1u

Growing VFT. The MUST have is SUNLIGHT! They love to SUNLIGHT so much so that they can open their mouth (trap) to show off their teeth to others.
No SUN, they wont kick much....

I'm exposing them to lots of sunlight. Many new leaves are forming.

You can see the wing sticking out a little.

Aaron, you can say good bye to that leaf!
If a trap catches anything bigger than it is, and if any part of the inscect is jutting out, even a tiny feeler, the trap will rot and turn black - i learn this the hard way, mine ate a whole wooly caterpillar! And don't even think of trimming the jutting part, it'll speed up the rotting process and even turn moldy!

Don't worry though, it won't kill your plant. Just give it a mild indigestion! http://s3.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

The inside of the trap that ate the moth is turning a little black. But never mind, still got plenty of leaves.
