Who know where YG park?
 

Yippy, my father decided to bring to YG park, after a lot of time i beg him, but here come the problem, i do not know where is the place...So...did anyone from here got the address or the name of the shop near it? I can search through google map...:tongue:

Cameron higlands lol...go to Cactus Valley. It's their retail shop :D

Yes, there's also a shop outside the entrance of cactus Valley which sells a lot of neps with YG park pots. The shops inside seem to have a lot of sanguineas and sanguinea hybrids only. The one outside has more variety. I once saw pilosa there..

I mean YG park is a nursery. The plants they grow are sold in cactus valley.

Nope they still have a park somewhere further, but I forgot about it. You can stop by cactus valley and ask the workers. Malu bertanya sesat jalan.

YG park is at around tringkap and kampung raja area. They normally do not allow visitors coz they do wholesales only.. If you are not buying many plants, visit the cactus valley will be good enuf. You won't be able to see all nepenthes in the park as well coz only small area are opened to visitors.

Watch out for a police "asrama" beside the petronas station at Brinchang area, opposite the "asrama" there is a road bring you up to Cactus valley. You dun have to drive your car up to the top of the hill to park, park your car outside of cactus valley ticketing booth. The nepenthes stall is at the opposite side. Watch out for "YG" wording on the pots.

if u go up using simpang pulai.. u shud reach yg park before u reach brinchang.... u will reach a small city first.. YG park is somewhere there, on the left turn where u see a DAP/PKR sign.. cactus valley is 10 mins driving time from yg park

opposite the police "asrama" got a road lead to cactus valley... got a big mock cactus there.. easy to get

Okay...hope i won't miss it....going there on this sunday...hope can get lots of Sarracenia and Drosera in nice price...hehe

I always go to the main YG park, instead of the cactus valley one. Never mind, the cactus valley one is also good.

u wont see dro & sara at yg park.. they keep it at "closed" section. u can buy them at cactus valley

Yah, but not too much. Maybe 5-10 plants? Always worth about RM100. So far they allow me and I even have the phone number of a worker there now. They don't really display their other CPs than nepenthes, but I will ask for plants like drosera / sarracenia / rare nepenthes and they will bring it to me. They will also suggest plants to me since they know I collect these.

Haha, thanks...but i seldom go there...just go there for 3 times without stop by at the Cactus Valley....now won;t regret already, going tomorrow..Wow!!

but most of the members is from KL and Selangor...me from perak...not same place....
But a trip can be consider...since a lot of CP lover will buy it, and all of us will buy a lot if many members around...haha

dro & sara can take full sun provided the humidity doesnot drop below 60%.. the higher is better.. and msut use water tray method!

Due to some reason, i cannot write the name....lol
Thought today can buy a lot of Drosera and Sarracenia, but what were left, S.purpurea.... But still got a lot Nepenthes available at most of the store....
But yet...still got a lot of nice thing happen...although my mood turn 180' when the staffat cactus valley told me...."oh...benda itu sudah habis dijual...lama sudah tak ada o..." swt....!!!!

Saw cepthalous, but it cost RM45 per pot, largest pitcher 1.5cm, diameter 5cm, saw some giant S.purpurea and VFT, bankrap already,so did not buy, just but one sarracenia and a lavender... =D

Sadly, still do not know where is YG park, cannot go also wanna find out what is it look like inside...can someone post picture of it when he/she visit the place>? please.... thanks

You are so unlucky. Maybe you searched wrongly. I never ever go to the Cactus Valley because of the lack of variety. YG park is somewhere further but I forgot the place and that's the place you are aiming whenever you want CPs. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Cameron Highlands(so I can buy more neps and drosera)

But when i asked instruction from the shop auntie, they will say that visitor are not allow to go in there....So what can i do？ Or would u mind ask for their name card and PM me their address and take some picture of the scenery around YG park so that i might be able to go there？ Can you help me?

YG labeled the sarracenia as S. farhamii or S. farhamii hybrid. For drosera, YG may not always will have stock for that.
