My precious "viking". How come? I though the plants were almost extinct when the tsunami hit the shores of Thialand a couple of years ago.
The whole island where vikings grew were imerged with sea water. I read somewhere there were only a few plants left in that location. The rest died as the soil became too salty. Salt water crystalised under the sun.

As far as I am concern, I bought it from a nursery that told me it was nursery grown. It came with CITES cert too. That's why together with the postage, it cost me RM300 ++
It's a species. Been wanting this fella for sooooooo long, until end last year I just could not wait anymore and bought it. You can see more of them on Neofarm website. The link is on the "Where to get what" archive. This was the nursery I bought from. They also tissue culture now. The owner Mr. Nong is a very nice guy. « Last Edit: May 10, 2007, 4:55pm by David »Link to Post - Back to Top http://s4.images.proboards.com/ip.gif LoggedMy Wantlist tarence

Bellii (EN) and N. Bicalcarata (VU). Would really wanted to own N. Campanulata, which was once thought to be extinct (due to forest burn) until recently was discovered back by Chi'en Lee..
