Glad that you guys like N.gracilis as well. It's one of my favourite as it's a very hardy and resilient neps.

same, I'm still loving it, it's the first wild nep species that I encounter and is one of the only 2 species that I come across...seeing the real thing naturally instead of growing out of a pot

just look on second level of man made anti-soil-collision barrier whenever you pass by, or when you pass through forest, look out for something look like a clump of black stuff hanging or vining on three, 60% and above is Nepenthes....hehe

Re: N.gracilis's haven

depends on location or area lah...for me, occasionally went for exploring trip with friends for fishing spot, with some luck, nep can be found, so far I've only come across N. Gracilis and N. Mirabillis only, yet to have luck on other species

Sorry Allen, i did not notice your posting earlier. I only take one cutting as i don't want to crowd my growing space with plants of the same sp/hybrids.

That's because no matter how we cares for them, we cannot duplicates what mother nature provides them:biggrin:

Yes, totally agreed.*biggrin2*

maybe someday we might actually have chance to do so!!
just need to study, but from what i see from nature, i saw N.gracilis root only a few inch or few centimeter into the soil, but it seems to have huge and large stem compare with what we have.....

Re: N.gracilis's haven

Maybe we should start growing neps on the ground like Robert did.
