Nice plants. What type of potting mix do you used for your aechema and neoregelia?

Re: Some of my bromeliads
WOW...the neo. blushing tiger seems interesting!! the stripes will be visible only at the base or will spread to the tip when plant matured? neo. voodoo doll is also interesting but the striking color tht is has will attract bl**dy monkeys at my place....sigh:blush:

Re: Some of my bromeliads
Thanks. I use the ratio of :50% crushed charcoal : 30% perlite : 20% mixture of soil & compost. It's very subjective depending on which genus of plants you are growing.

Re: Some of my bromeliads
Hahaha...I didn't know monkeys like purple! The blushing Tiger will develope more bandings on its' leaves as the plant mature. It's a nice small size plant. THis is my favourite among all banded plants that I have.

Oh!....that's bad. By the way, are they native there. Supposingly your place is an island. How do they got over there! Just curious.
