Nice plants. What type of potting mix do you used for your aechema and neoregelia?

WOW...the neo. blushing tiger seems interesting!! the stripes will be visible only at the base or will spread to the tip when plant matured? neo. voodoo doll is also interesting but the striking color tht is has will attract bl**dy monkeys at my place....sigh:blush:

Thanks. I use the ratio of :50% crushed charcoal : 30% perlite : 20% mixture of soil & compost. It's very subjective depending on which genus of plants you are growing.

Hahaha...I didn't know monkeys like purple! The blushing Tiger will develope more bandings on its' leaves as the plant mature. It's a nice small size plant. THis is my favourite among all banded plants that I have.

"they" love every striking color items in my garden, even hookeriana giant pitchers they will tear up into pieces and then only learnt tht it is not edible.....sigh....tht is why i am jealous of nepnut's new cage for his neps collection............http://www.facebook.com/?tid=1517694...ents&ref=notif

Oh!....that's bad. By the way, are they native there. Supposingly your place is an island. How do they got over there! Just curious.

yeah, the native species...long tail macaque....luckily theres only one species....redang and langkawi has the silver leaf monkey....thats more notorius.:thumbdown:
