Congrats. Hope more seeds germinate for you. The same thing happened to me. I sowed 8-9 sarra seeds and only 1 germinated. But those viking seeds i got germinated a lot.

Can take sarra seed up to a year to germinate. Vft seeds are easy to germinate and normally take 3 to 4 years to reach maturity.

wow, cool, marvin! i've never tried any vft seeds before but if i did, i'd be as thrilled as you are right now! :1thumbup:

Hi Marvin, may i know where did u place your seed? and how much water did u provide? I have some seeds and would like to grow them too.

I used peat and sand and perlite for the mediaum but I don't recommend using perlite. Seeds fall through them. I also use a water tray. The medium is about 5cm while the water level is 1. You don't need to bury them. Just sprinkle on top of the medium. Oh yeah don't forget to water, don't put them in high temperature areas and dpn't tranplant them too soon. Good luck to you

so u have a water tray below AND also sprinkle water on top frequently.
