Re: Funkychips' Growlist
Nice terrarium setup !! But I still don't understand why you can't grow amps outdoor at your place in our climate... sooner or later, amps will outgrow your terrarium.

WOW!!! Nice amps!!

Re: Funkychips' Growlist
Thank you all for the encouraging comments, appreciate it very much...
Edward: Lovely plants Fauzi has eh? Got my amps from him, but they look nice only coz they are still newly bought...!!! As for my case, I still need to observe them in the long run. Amp 'Giant Red' is the only one starting to show signs of growth, the rest are still slow and supposedly in shock..to the new environment...btw how's your northiana getting on? Nepnut: You should have seen amps that grow outdoors in my garden. Their leaves will have a crinkled surface....how to describe....like papery texture, and pitchers small and stunted, they open prematurely and then turn black...:bored: Right now, I'm really hoping that they do actually outgrow my terrarium!!...but looks so far from it at the moment :crying: cbkhoon: Cling-wrap you mean? But don't you find that it will stick together when you want to open up to water the plants? :spinning:I used it once for covering the top of the terrarium but the droseras started to rot due to the trapped stagnant air inside so I stopped using it... allenphoon: Yup droseras are easily manageable in terrariums. You just need to top up their water trays and watch them grow and flower.. |
