sorry korinthos,

a little side track in your posting...since cbkhoon warned you bout the wet media.

i have a tray of seedlings attacked by mold (looks like those thick spider webs).....media...coco fiber, therefore no stagnant water, the tray (take-away container) has holes on the cover and side, therefore air exchange is happening. i can still see seddlings underneath the mold and what should i do?

NP don't know if it will help you but I use a spray bottle you spray mold off my seeds when it pops up only have had it come up thankfully but I do spray them every other day only BC its so dry where I live that if I didn't they could dry out

Same thing happen to me. For some weird reason, it only attacked 3 of my 4 germination boxes and left the last one alone. Changed my tap watering to filtered water and the mold showed some signs of decrease, but still there. I'm getting some fungicide from Fauzi.

mold will not formed if the container was left open under bright shaded area. you only need to moist the media to prevent drying out. If you prefered your way to germinate seeds then open the container once in awhile ( esp at night )

Re: petling

hello i just wanted to update every one that im going to try something with my seedlings i seen that once the leafs start coming up the roots have just started growing so with my first 3 seedling i moved them to small pots going to keep them in the same growing conditions as they started in im thinking that seeing as they don't have long roots that moving them shouldn't hurt them as long as i keep them in the same conditions as they wore in b4

i know every one is going to say you shouldn't move them till they are about a year old but if i did that with how many seeds i have together im worryed that i may really hurt them pulling the year old plants apart later on im only trying this with 3 plants out of over 200 seeds of 2 hybirds
