Kami tak lumpuhlaaaaaa, Aaron......:laugh: its tanah merah bakar. tanah merah is the 'diterangkan' while bakar is the 'menerangkan'.

Hahaha, it is ok. The bical, like i mentioned, contained more fine particles. Don't want the plant to dry out too fast, lol.

Just realised that tanah bakar merah is a double compound word. Tanah diterangkan oleh bakar menjadi kata nama = tanah bakar yg diterang oleh merah

Now i know there's some Malay expersts here.
I was asking the Indonesia lady who is working there and she don't what is it.
Thanx guys for helping.
Do i have to wash the whole soil with water again and again or i can see any difference showing that it's enough!

I wash until the water running out of the colander doesn't appear reddish with silt. The soil will then smell less of the burnt smell.

Wow, very intuitive thinking. It is kinda due to this pic

and this one (a heavily red spotted one frm G. Ledang) that used to grow across the garden and circumbulated the mango tree before climbing up to the height of a double storey house. Most of the vines were thrown away when the tree was chopped down.
