Unhealthy Neps ID

4 Attachment(s)
Look at my new neps(I know they are unhealthy). The new leaves are drying up even before it opened and very very few pitchers. But I'll nurse it back to health. I just wonder why don't nursery owners research about CPs before growing them., This 2 neps were potted in normal soil and watered with tap water and in dark shade.

Image 0 and 1 are the same plant.

Image 3 and 4 are the same plant.

Yes. I finally found a rafflesiana eventhough its tiny!! I hope they recover quickly from all that stress given to them by the nursery owners.

Hahaha those nursery owner had an argument with me and my dad. My dad tried to bargain saying that small kids like me kill them easily. I told them the new leaves are brownish. They said it was a hybrid and it was natural that they go brownish. I almost laugh!! Hahaha. Finally I got the truncata for RM 30 something(the original price was RM43) and the rafflesiana for RM 10-13.(original price RM19)

Hi Aaron

Well its hard to say "good looking plants aaron" lol......Anyway congrats to the 2 new plants to your collections.I got my truncata also for RM30-35 not that sure but i got the N rafflesiana for bout RM 20...The truncata when i bought it was also in normal potting soil very heavy...and immediatly after i got it and brought it back home i changed the potting media. My tuncata was even horrible looking than yours when i got it now its fine hahahaha when i bought it 3 leaves 1 no pitcher 1 got pitcher and the other 1 was attacked by some pest which in the end didn't grow.My raff came in 3 there was 3 plants in one pot hahaha lucky me hehehe. It only had 1 pitcher at that time.

That's a nice bargain you got on your plants Aaron. Even if they are in bad shape. Congrats! :1thumbup:

BTW why don't you suggest that the nursury owners do some research on neps? If they refuse you can always haul some Cp books over there and tell them to read them.
