Very nice Lim! Wow, so many flowering Byblis! I just planted (transplanted) a bunch into shallow trays and then filled the remaining background with moss to try to keep the sand from splashing up so much and to add a little background color. Now, seeing yours I think it's better just to plant them really thick! These are only a week or two since transplanting but you can get the idea;

wow...so many beautiful biblis, the main attraction to me is the dew that expand to the flower that no droseara has, another great suprise from lim:1thumbup:

Very interesting that the flowers also have the carnivorous parts. Are they unique with this? I don't think droseras have traps on their flowers right?

I not sure if any Drosera has dew on its flower stalk. But another genus got dewy flower stalk is Pinguicula.

Hi, Shawn. Nice moss you have there. Can they grow under full sun?

I let it sit on water tray. Water level 1-3 cm.

Re: Somewhere between the rainbow

pisces, are the byblis ok when there is a huge storm or do you provide some shelter from the rain?

piscesilim 28th January 2010 10:31 AM

Re: Somewhere between the rainbow

I didn't provide any shelter. They don't look that bad after raining. Because they hold each to prevent falling down.
