Hi, I am peter55 or Peter Lam. I am married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. My interest in pitchers started with my friend "hosh" who introduced to me to the hobby.

After meeting several KL members at the Pg Floral Fair, we came to know of this website and joined up.

I am a raw beginner and the information from this website has helped me tremendously to learn about carnivorous plants.

atm I am trying to expand the shelving in one of my balconies to accomodate more plants. My wife limits me to only 1 balcony because she's scared of the lizards hiding among the foliage :)

As time goes on, I will learn more from the seniors and add on to my interest.

Welcome to the forum Peter. It appears you suffer from the same problem as many of us here, i.e. restricted growing space from higher powers. I am always trying to expand my growing area, although I do have more space than a balcony.

Hi Folks,

I'm hosh. Since I got an "honourable mention" by Peter, thought I'd better intro myself too.

Have completed my sixth decade, married, 2 kids abroad, but not as lucky as Peter to be blessed with grandkids. Resides in Penang.

I have always been facinated by Neps but only started collection them about 5 years ago while on visit to Kuching. Bought 2 tissue cultured plants, a Hooker and a red rafalsiana. The hooker is still with me and is the one in my album while the rafa died, though I got another replacement when my wife was over in Kuching again. Other plants sourced locally, some from Eric.

Have no problem with space so grateful to Bactrus and David for the Nep and Dos seeds.

Also got to know about this forum from Bactrus, at the floral show recently.
