Seeds & Pre-poured Culture Media

1 Attachment(s)
Greetings dear CP-ers!

I have some spare seeds to let go :)

Lithops 20 seeds mix - RM 5
Drosera capensis 20 seeds - RM 3.50

Additional shipping cost RM3 applies for pos ekspress.

For Lithops, germination is not a problem. It's the question of how to keep your plant alive and grow into maturity. It's suitable only for those who love challenge . And you get 'stones' for your effort. LOL

Also for advanced hobbyist, I present...

Sealed Dehydrated & Pre-poured Culture Media in test tube - RM 25

Shipping cost depends on weight of parcel.

*Now welcomes plant sample / cutting which you want to clone. Ship at your own cost. We cut, culture, and if it survives, we divide and send back few plants for you. Shipping at recipient's cost. This will be conducted in an agriculture lab, not my kitchen lab.*

They need very sterile environment and lots of clorox spraying if you're doing it in a kitchen / clean room. I am about to order my 2nd batch and if the number of order is big, the price may be cheaper. This order however, takes time, since they do not keep stock. Tubes can be keep in room temp in the dark when not in use.

As for seeds, I welcome seed exchange too. Just PM me if you want wish to do so :)

P/s: I have baby antplants too! 12cm (married and not longer available) and 1cm (3 married and 2 still waiting for you!). LOL. PM me if you're interested

Hi

No plants inside. Just a ready to be used tightly sealed pre prepared media inside. You need to sterile your own plant cutting / seed and put on top of the media.

I am outstation until Tues. Will take & upload photos as soon as I'm back to home.

Okay. Do you have a name for your orchid? If the total quantity ordered is higher, the price can be lower.

I did try too, at own kitchen, but about to be killed by mum coz mess up her kitchen. LOL. She worry I might poison the whole family with my chemicals!

And the chemicals are sooooo expensive. In Sarawak, its almost impossible to get all of them here. Purchasing from other place is a real hassle unless I can be there and talk to the seller what I want. In the end I just source some from a lab. Phew. Save all the trouble. Very costly but at least they got everything right for you.

But the problem does not end here. Need to play with lots of clorox in order to avoid contamination. Have to wear few layers of glove, mask and google for self protection. I wasted few tubes and get two tubes contamination free, so far. Finger crossed !! The cost is subsequently reduced when I bring back the test tube and its special cap for reuse. So just share it with fellow friends here who might want to try. But trust me, even everything had been prepared right for you, its not that easy! Contamination is a nightmare

My N. bical. :shy:

The pre-poured culture media in test tube will look like this, except without plant. I had ordered 10 tubes and 7 tubes left for booking. PM me if you're interested. First come first serve. This is the thin and tall type of test tube and suitable to naik kapal terbang. Those who have ordered, next time you can return and reuse the tube and the cost will be much lower. The tube is v expensive! Thank you for your support.

This is how orchid seeds looked like when they germinated. WOW *biggrin2* This is the fat wide jar. I ordered this type also but not for sale. Transport will cause the media to rupture.

Re: Seeds & Pre-poured Culture Media

No idea what's the combination of nutrient the lab use. I remember they told me the chemicals cost a fortune and every drop of them are not to be wasted. LOL

For the tall thin test tube, it can be pos laju-ed without problem. The media can stand the shake without rupture.

Photo no 1 and 2 are about 130% of the original size. So just imagine they're 30% smaller, that's it!

Asked the lab and its nutrient for orchid in vitro.
Deals close this coming 7 Oct. Lemme know if anyone still interested before that date. Thank you :)

Re: Seeds & Pre-poured Culture Media

Those who have made payment, your tubes will be sent out today :)
Managed to get some stock from the lab. It's the extras which they not yet use.
Contact my hp directly if you have any inquiry.
Check for contamination when you receive the tubes - either leaking, broken, etc.

Thank you
