Nice community pot you have there, ie. the spatulata and pings. The burmanii picture is not very clear. What is it that the plant is digesting on the right hand side leave? Just curious. http://s4.images.proboards.com/cheesy.gif

Maybe I'll start planting a small CP garden with a few species of Sundews, Ping and ultri in a pot. Looks good like that.

caseyhoo, maybe you can try looking for a macro function (a flower symbol) in your digital camera. the plants might be too small and your cam's auto focus function are not focusing at the correct length.

i do not think it is true, but then i've not tried it. Anyway except for certain species, i think it is almost impossible to give sundews too much light.

the important thing is that we managed to get the message across : sundew = maximum sunlite for most types.

Here`s how to post pics, info from Home page :
Hi there!

To post pictures on this forum, you need to host your pictures on a website, copy the IMG code and paste it on your message. When you post your message the pictures will appear on your message.

There are free sites where you can host your pictures on. Below are links to two of them:

Just register a free account with them and you can start uploading pictures on your account. It's just a click away.

After the pictures are uploaded, you will be able to see the IMG code at the bottom of the pictures. Just copy the IMG code and paste it on your message in the forum.

Please note that full size pictures uploaded from a digital camera are too large to be posted on the forum. It will slow down the download time and will also destroy the layout of the topics. Therefore large pictures will be automatically adjusted to the right size. Members may click on the picture and a new window will open with the original size picture.

Have fun!

as for your binata var multifida...mebbe the plant isn`t strong enough to put out a flower stalk successfully ( it tried but failed ) or during the flower formation, there was lack of moisture. i snip off my flower stalks as i`m told they won`t seed & might weaken the plant considerably. my binata T form collapsed after flowering & i was afraid of the same thing happening again.

Yes, I grow them ontop of my mail box that receive 4 ~ 5 hours of direct sunlight. All my CPs grow at the same condition.
