Hi Felipe,

Thanks, hope you can get all the neps you like in the future. We are quite blessed here as it's generally quite easy to find most variety of neps if you know where to look that is.

maybe the only diff is under the lid and in the inner wall of the pitcher.......n. cemerlang has red markings like n. fusca has....

I think you could be right. The difference is in the lower lid and inner walls. From my pictures, there's no marking under the lid and inner wall whereas yours got some marking.

Watch out for N. merrilliana fr BE, I suspect it's not a pure N. merrilliana (can't be 100% certain either), ask Fauzi, he also have doubts.

If you really wanted to get it, wait for EP to release their seed grown N. merrilliana, I got more confidence in them.

N. x Cermelang have some dots on the pitchers and the neck of the peristome is much higher... like N. fusca.

Thanks for the info on N.merilliana. Think i'll wait for EP to release their seed grown plants before getting one. Yea..i thought so they are more credible.

The diiference between these two plants(cemerlang & veitchii hose mountain) is so small it's hardly visible. Thanks all for the clarifications else i will still be confused by them.

Re: Angkau's cup

I read somewhere that BE's plants are sometimes not what they labeled them to be. Maybe it's trade secrets or an innocent mistake but i'm quite certain Truncata black is not the long lost species they claimed it to be. It could be that they hit the 'jackpot' with this one....while experimenting.
