Re: Strath76 Growlist
Wow, those two plants found in Stewart's books. Can I book seeds now?

Re: Strath76 Growlist
I'll work on getting them to germinate first. I have read though that meristocaulis is not self fertile and can be difficult to pollinate so we will have to wait and see. Hopefully I will get a few plants and that will increase my chances of getting seed later.

Re: Strath76 Growlist
How the heck you get hold of meristocaulis seeds? If it is related to pygmy sundews, it may produce gemmae.
Stewart was not sure if it does produce gemmae when he gave his talk at the ACPS meeting last year. |
Re: Strath76 Growlist
Hi Khoas, Allen Lowrie is selling them. When I saw them in his catalogue I just had to buy them. Couldn't resist. I will certainly keep my eye out for gemmae. It would make me very happy if I can get them to grow and they then produce gemmae as well.

Re: Strath76 Growlist
Added a few more plants that I was fortunate enough to pick up today and a few seeds that germinated recently.

Can I reserve one of the D. sp. Hermanus should there happen to be multiples in the pot?
