Yes, it comes from latin america (Brazil).
It thrives in cool conditions but it might cope with warm temperatures. It gets that intense red robe if given plenty of light.

This species can be propagated easily by leaf cuttings.

David, i don't know if it's the prettiest in its genus. The other Droseraholic might not agree but it is indeed a spectacular plant. I should have some Drosera other pictures soon.

Not the best photo, I'm afraid. If you look closely, you can see a small plant emerging below right center. It is supposed to be self-fertile, as well.
