Thanks everyone for your kind comments. The plants were neglected because I spent 3 weeks on the Singapore Garden Festival. And after that was my operation. So I had about a good 4-5 weeks of not pruning or removing dead leaves etc. On top of that, the painters are painting my block of apartments and I have plastic wrap all over them. :laugh:

The plants are not that expensive individually. The bulk of the expensive ones have been sold off. Collectively of course, they might cost a bit but I only concentrate on the ones which can grow well in my conditions. So now that you see them here, you have seen almost all. :blush:

Welcome back! Well, that's a good explanation for the title, but I 'wish' I could neglect my plants and have them look so good! There's just too many great ones for me to pick a favorite. You said, mentioning your N. globosa, "N. globusa - didn't see this one hiding inbetween pots until today"... Have you ever seen the articles on Vikings at Nong's website (Neofarm)? They speak about the fact that the best deep red pitchers seem to form when the plants get lots of sun but the pitchers are hidden away underneath the leaf canopy or are tucked away between the pots.

Some of us had vikings from Nong before he sold them in a big way and wrote articles about their growing needs. We had to discover ourselves that the pitchers bleach in direct sunlight. :laugh:

With a balcony, it is not easy to hide pitchers. Most of the large plants are dangling in mid-air and with their pitchers exposed to light. That red pitcher came from a young plant which happens to be on the rack. I pack the pots very closely and the pitcher developed in the shade. I seldom get such a nice pitcher since many get deformed in the tight spaces.
