VFT in the winter
 
ive only had my VFT for 6 mouths and it wont go into hybanation for the winter what can i do ?

Hi Jimmy, I think your place must be warm enough to keep it from going dormant, are you growing it indoor? A year skip in dormancy won't affect the plant, spring is approaching, maybe you could move it outside after the weather get warmer.

will it be ok then cos ive read somwhere that it can damage the plant but its a bit late now anyway spring will soon be here i live in the midlands in the uk

Temperature from the spot where it is and outside where you're going to move it to, is not too much different shouldn't be a problem for the plant. Provide it as much sunlight as you can, it'll be very happy.

i think thay should flower in the winter but my plant keep haveing flower pods coming out strange thay look helthy enough

I think that could be due to warmer temperature in your house that induce the plant to send out flower stalk.
Try pollinate them manually to get seeds (if you want) as I presume no natural pollinater inside your house.:laugh:
