How to collect and store pollen?
 
May I know the way to collect and store pollen of nepenthes and droseras?'Cause my nep is flowering and no other peoples nep are flowering.And My D.paradoxa is flowering but I want to try making a hybrid with jason's D.fulva..would be fun:laugh:So is theer a way?

For neps i might be able to help....This is all base on what i do and might not be the best way of cos anyway what i do is..

1st. Get a brush(paintbrush) and get a small plastic container or maybe those ziplock bags..

2nd. Brush on those bulb thingy where the pollen is downwards (plastic container must be below the flower so it can catch the falling pollen)

And yea thats about it...Just collect daily as the flower opens from the bottom to the top....Pollen which are ready to be collected usually look fuzzy..
Well i suck at explaining :)

Erm may I know ripe nep poleen comes from the brown or green flowers?
