Nepenthes gender

OK, nepenthes plants are either male or female. Unfortunately, nepenthes do not have legs, so we cannot lift them to check which is which. Is there a way of determining the gender of a nepenthes plant when it is not flowering? Or do you simply have to wait and see?

Unfortunately, you do have to wait for it to flower unless you know the exact clone of the plant, and someone else has flowered it. If the plant is a seedgrown individual, then you really do have to wait for a flower to show itself...

That's unfortunate! I am VERY impatient! *biggrin2*

Thanks for the reply.
