My first cephalotus yay !
 

Hi hi guy,
I went to Singapore last week and I bring some plants back. But I love Cephalotus most. I still a noob so I don't know much about Cephalotus :crying:. Well, I need some advice for my plants :laugh:. It still live but I don't sure that the plants are healthy.

How much did you get it for?Bigger than mine!But no one took away your plants this time and you should be HAPPY!!

You better water it everyday, the media you use is a slow releasing fertiliser. From the view of your ceph, it does not seem good.

Thank for this. And I really sorry the time I visited Singapore are too short first day going around singapore second day came to Sentosa island and last day I visited TALOS then I went to singapore river to see the 44th national celebration. After that I back to Vietnam 13 hours later. Hope to see you on my next trip. Can you teach me some imfortant thing to grow cephalotus.

The first problem is too wet.
The second problem is link to your first problem, you need to flush the media frequently.
That is like shooting your toe with your own gun.
You must understand that you are having your plant in VN, if best is to ask Mr Tan Linh to help you.
He does have Ceph alot bigger then yours for the sum you paid.

Thank for this, I still thinking that asking the experience people is better. Can you tell me how much cost for the size of the plants in the picture you sell ?

The one you have is from YG. Sorry, YG's Ceph you have to ask the Malaysian. I am selling German Giant, then it is not the price issue, but i only selling to those who find them to have experiance to grow them well.*biggrin2*

Forget to tell you.
You should remove the yellow pitchers asap. Just pull it downward. If you dont have confident, then just cut it near to the rizhome.

Where do you plant your ceph at your place?? SG weather not the same as VN.

Well my cephalotus grow in my garden humidify a roung 70% and light are 70% for 8 hours ! Sg same same like Vietnam not different much. But why your nep not suit with me ?

You forget i also half VN?? VN heat wave is hotter then SG. SG sometime have cold air coming from the sea. HCM dont have it. Mine is mostly HL.

If you want sundews in VN, you can contact Senh, i believe he have more then total added up you had seen in SG.:1thumbup:

I use perlite to keep the media as cool as possible. It will help the plants grow past.
