My serras lids keep going brown!
i NEED HELP
the lids/tops of my serras keep going brown. is it the light? or lack of watering?? :spinning: |
Re: My serras lids keep going brown!
Sarras should be able to withstand bright direct sun provided their roots are kept wet. Which part of aussie are you from, mate? :p Maybe its the current hot and dry summer conditions. It should look better as autumn approaches..

Re: My serras lids keep going brown!
The growing season is winding down in the southern hemisphere right now. Older pitchers are going to die off as they age and your plant gets ready for dormancy.

Re: My serras lids keep going brown!
Thanks for the help! I live in Western Australia. About 2 hours from the home of cephalotus ^__^ (i have some of them too haha)
They say VFT and sarras can withstand the hot sun, but unfortunately it gets 40 - 45 degrees and just destroys them lol. I will post a picture ASAP. Ive changed where they sit now and they just get 2 - 3 hours of morning sun and they seem happier. |
