the weather in the island is very unforgiving too....scorching hot sun from 8am till late evening....old pitchers are paper crisp dried....the only way that i sort of counter balance the humidity is by hosing them with tonnes of water at 9pm and continue to water sprinkle them till bout 8am before i left for my workplace....the sun loving neps especially 'n. mirabilis', gracilis and its hybrids, sundews and sarracenias are doing great..but my highland setup, vft intermediate neps and its owner are now sort of suffering from the intense heat...
