Hi Ken, I used to go there before they started moving, and pop into those nurseries asking them for red burnt soil (hong shao ni) and they will tell you how much per bag. When u ask for the ones that are less powdery, they look at you funnily cos they assume ppl want to grow plants hence it shouldn't be gritty. But I can never find those like Cindy's over here - ie chunky and in huge lumps. Here they already 'pre-bashed' the baked clay into tiny pieces. So sieving and washing can cost you 1/3 to half a bag of soil and a trail of red clay down your yard!
