Distribution & Habitat
Elevation : Lowland to Intermediate
Country of Origin : Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak & Peninsular Malaysia), Indonesia (Sumatra & Kalimantan) & Singapore
Natural Habitat : Grow terrestrially in open, sandy and wet areas. In Peninsular Malaysia, some were found growing in sand clay laterite soil.

Propagation: Stem Cutting & Seeds.
Remarks:
One of the "majestic" L/L nepenthes that is vigorous and produce enormous pitchers (giant form).
N. rafflesiana is very variable especially those originated from seed. There are also many interesting form/variant for the shape and colour of the pitcher for this species. A good beginner (and for enthusiasts alike)
nepenthes species to start with and once you saw the pitchers, there's no return...
Many interesting natural and man made hybrids involving
N. rafflesiana can be found in cultivation and easily available on the market.
