Yup I agree most droseras doesn't need any preparation before germination, the key is to use fresh seeds. Burmanii, Spatulata, capensis, indica, intermedia all just sow them as soon as possible.

I actually have good results using cocopeat as well, compared to sphagnum moss and peat moss, not sure why. I also notice that there I get better success when the medium is at least 2 inch deep and a humidity dome that is maybe 2 to 3 inches tall only. Water dish I also always use.

When you have seedlings, make sure you don't water overhead or over them, just use the water dish instead.
